There is nothing that I love more than a unique wedding! Jules & Jason based their wedding on a blend of themes: silent film era, steampunk, and classic literature. This blend reflects the passion they both have as being writers. They wanted a playful, turn of the century vintage feel with a whole lot of spunk! We decided to photograph everything before the ceremony at Union Station in downtown Los Angeles where Jules & Jason also shared their first look. I still can’t get over how gorgeous Jules looked when she arrived! Or the way Jason’s eyes lit up when he saw his bride for the first time! The ceremony & reception took place at a silent movie theater. How cool is that?! Most of the decor was personally designed & hand made by the couple with the help of many friends including Team Awesome. It was a true reflection of their personalities & everything came out so perfect! This really was one of the most memorable weddings I have ever photographed.

DIANA + RUDY {Laguna Beach Wedding}

Diana & Rudy were so amazing to work with! I can still remember the huge hug Diana gave me as soon as I walked into her room the morning of her wedding! I felt like I’ve known both of them forever & for this day to finally arrive made me so excited! They live in Tennessee but flew out to have their engagement session & wedding in Laguna Beach, Ca. Their wedding took place at the beautiful historic Hotel Laguna. Even though their wedding day ended up being overcast, it did not stop it from turning out absolutely perfect! I can easily say that Samantha Dapper Event Design had a big part in that. She made everything look stunning! I need to give a shutout to the groomsmen of this wedding, thank you for making us all laugh cry! (I wish I could show all the pictures on here but I probably should let that be your own little memory to keep). ;) The whole bridal party was such a joy to work with! I mean come on, who turns their grand entrance into a Harlem Shake replication?! So awesome! Okay I’ll stop talking & let you enjoy some images now!

I don’t know why it has taken me so long to blog this wedding. I’m finally forcing myself to share it! December 1st ended up being the perfect day for a wedding in Laguna Beach! (Only in California) ;) I remember falling in love with every single image on the back of my camera during this wedding. Courtney & Travis looked absolutely stunning!! I’m so glad I got the opportunity to be a part of this special day along side Jessica Warhol. Congratulation Mr. & Mrs. Gmeiner!

Brooklyn {Maternity Session}

Today is the day!!! Baby Brooklyn is about to enter into the world!!

She is going to have the best parents & big brother! I can’t wait to capture their faces once they see their little girl for the first time.
